HAMBURG, NY - The Athletics Department at Hilbert College is pleased to announce that the 4th annual Meghan Memorial Invitational cross country race date has been set.
Coaches Geoff Brunger and Susan Devlin are coordinating the 5K September 22, 2012 race at Frontier High School and they invite the local racing community to participate.
Top overall male and female finishers in the College and Open divisions will receive a long sleeve moisture-management shirt and 2nd through 10th place college division runners will be awarded a short sleeve tee-shirt.
In 2008, Meghan Sorbera's life was tragically cut short during her sophomore yeat at Hilbert College. She participated in the cross country program her freshman year and was a great competitor and teammate. As a way to honor her love for running and to celebrate her favorite time of the year, the cross country program hosts an annual Meghan Memorial Invitational race.
The OPEN division registration form is linked above.
