ROCHESTER, NY – Hilbert College traveled to Nazareth College on Saturday, October 10th to compete in the Golden Flyer Invitational, hosted by Nazareth College.

On the men’s side of the team competition, Alfred State College finished the race with a combined team score of just 27 points. Alfred had five runners finish in the top nine spots which helped them to claim the title. Hilbert College finished in 8th place with a combined team score of 221 which was only 8 points shy of the 7th place finish team, but their score was 31 points better than the 9th place team. 
 
On the women’s side of the team competition, Nazareth College, for the fifth time in six years, claimed the title to their own invitational. The Golden Flyers claimed seven of the top nine spots totally just 24 team points. Hilbert College women’s team did not have five runners on Saturday which disqualified them from team competition. They are listed officially as “incomplete” and their individual times do not tally into team points.
