Cross Country Team Competes at Behrend Lions Invitational

The Penn State Behrend Lions cross country team hosted fifteen men's and twelve women's teams on September 19, 2009, on the Behrend course in Erie, Pa.  Hilbert's men and women's cross country teams competed in their first race of the year and came away pleased with the efforts of all the Hawk runners.  Mt. Union men's team took the first place trophy for the second straight season.  While on the women's side, California University of Pennsylvania took home the first place finish.

Hilbert men's cross country finished the 8k course in a total time of 3:42.16 which placed them in 15th place.  Individual times are as follows:

Hilbert women's cross country team did not have a complete team of runners for the 6k course but several athletes did run the course.  Their individual times are as follows:

Next up for the cross country team is the Harry F. Anderson Invitational at Roberts Wesleyan College on Saturday, September 26th.
