Men’s XC Competes at Geneseo State Invit.

MT. MORRIS, NY – Otterbein College’s Mike Sawicki blazed through the 8K course at Letchworth State Park in 25:16 Saturday to win the Geneseo State Invitational men’s cross country meet. Host Geneseo State placed five runners in the top 19 to win the 18-team event with a low score of 56 points. Otterbein finished a close second with 63 points on the day.

Hilbert College’s Adam Moody (Chaffee, NY/Chaffee) finished in 187th place and was the first Hawk to cross the finish line in a 41:03. Hilbert finished in 18th place on the afternoon.

The Hawks will next compete at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford this Friday, October 7th at 4:00 pm.
