HAMBURGH, NY – The Hilbert College men’s basketball team passed their final preseason test on Saturday with a 91-66 win over Fleming College of Canada. The exhibition game serves as a tune up for the Hawks home opener against Hobart College on November 17th.
The host Hawks led 45-32 at the half before pulling away early in the second stanza. The winners held a 49-33 advantage on the boards and 11 different players reached the scoring column.
Neil O’Sullivan poured in 22 points for the visiting Knights who now stand at 7-6 on the season.
Hilbert College, located in suburban Hamburg, N.Y., south of Buffalo, is a private four-year college founded in 1957 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition.
