HC’s Morasco Ranked 14th Nationally

INDIANAPOILS, IN – Hilbert College baseball player Steve Morasco (Memphis, NY/Jordan-Elbridge) is currently ranked 14th in NCAA Division III strikeouts per nine innings.

The freshman right-hander has earned 62 strikeouts in 49 innings pitched through games ending on Sunday, April 30th. On average he is fanning 11.4 batters per game for the 2006 Hawks.

Sophomore Charlie Furbush of St. Joseph’s College (ME) has 88 strikeouts on the year and currently leads the nation with an average of 14.6 strikeouts per contest.
