BOX SCORE

HAMBURG, NY - Goalkeepers Kamil Cislak and Scott Walker each had three saves for Hilbert College, but Wells College's offense was too powerful as the Express erupted for three second-half goals September 7.  The visitors captured a 4-0 men's soccer victory over the Hawks in their home-opener game.

After a quick goal by Wells (3:24), both teams played even the remaining 42 minutes of the half.  Hilbert's James Knapp played steller defense on Wells' top scoring threat and the team defense looked in control.

After a 15-minute intermission, the Express opened the second period with another score three minutes into the half, building on their lead. With a few Hilbert breakdowns on defense, Wells (2-1) scored two more goals 17-seconds apart at the 60 minute mark, which finished the scoring for the day.

Hilbert (0-2) continues the search for their first win when they host Grove City College on September 10 with a 1pm start.
