Martucci Leads Hawks Against Altoona

ALTOONA, PA – Penn State Altoona continued their strong play in the AMCC softball league as they captured two games (8-0, 13-5) from the visiting Hilbert Hawks April 25th dropping the Hawks to 0-10. Altoona improved to 13-5 and steps closer to the play-offs.
Hilbert was led on the day by junior Jill Martucci who finished with 4 hits and 2RBI. Allison Hall and Kelly Milne both went 2 for 3 in the second game giving the Hawks some fire power at the plate.
Altoona took the game from Hilbert, as they finished with 23 hits in 10 innings of play.
