The Hilbert College women’s basketball team under the direction of a new coaching staff opens their 2010-2011 season this weekend at the Buffalo State Betty Abgott Invitational. Grove City College and The Sages College will open the tourney on Friday, November 19 with a 4pm tip, leaving Coach Rob Peterson’s Hawks to face the host Bengals in the night cap game at 6pm. The consolation and championship games are set for 12pm and 2 pm on November 20.

Buffalo State owns a 6-0 series lead over Hilbert with their first game dating back to 1996. Their last meeting was an 81-38 Buffalo State drubbing in the first round of the same Betty Abgott Invitational in 2006.
