ALTOONA, PA – After building an 8-run lead, Hilbert couldn’t hold Altoona in the bottom of the 4th and allowed ten runs. Subsequent to a pitching change mid-inning, the Hawks didn’t put more runs on the board and lost 12 – 10 in game one of the AMCC double header. Hilbert battled back to tie the game in the second stanza but lost 6-5 in the bottom of the 7th inning. Hilbert’s record drops to 2-8 in conference and 5-17 overall while Altoona moves into a two-way tie for third place in conference (8-4) and 14-16 overall.
