HAMBURG, NY: The Hawks fell short on Wednesday night to AMCC opponent Penn State Behrend 48-87. Freshman forward Katie Newton(Elba, NY/ Ebla) led Hilbert with a career high 14 points shooting a perfect 10-10 from the free throw line. Behrend was led by Aly Eagle recording 16 points in the victory.
The loss drops the Hawks to (0-13) on the season and (0-8) in the AMCC while the Behrend Lions even their record to (6-6) overall and (4-4) in the conference.
