Hawks Fall in Double Overtime
Lose second straight overtime game to conference opponent

CRESSON, PA: On Saturday, January 9, Hilbert took on conference foe Mt. Aloysius where they fell in double overtime by a score of 78-80. Hilbert was lead by freshmen duo Roman Brown (Buffalo, NY/South Park) and Dan McFarland (Lancaster, NY/St. Mary’s) scoring 18 and 16 points respectively. Hilbert’s record falls to (1-11) overall and (0-7) in the AMCC.
In the first half, Mt. Aloysius led Hilbert by a score of 38-34. Heading into the second half play remained even between both teams. After trailing for the majority of the half, Hilbert came from behind to tie the game with :19 seconds left off a lay up from sophomore forward Nick Piccone (North Chili, NY/ Aquinas). The lay up would send the game into overtime.
