Basketball Coaches in Suits and Sneakers

Hilbert College head coach, Rob deGrandpre and his assistant coaches are participating in the National Association of Basketball Coaches Suits and Sneakers Weekend. Part of the NABC’s Coaches vs. Cancer initiative, Suits and Sneakers raises awareness in the fight against cancers.

The Hawks (14-5, 8-4) will be supporting the cause when they travel to Penn State Altoona January 26th for their Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference rematch. 

This year, the NABC is giving fans a chance to get in on the action. When you donate $5 to Coaches vs. Cancer (by TEXTING the word ‘COACH’ to 20222 or by donating online (click here) anytime between January 21st and April 9th, you will automatically be entered for a chance to experience the thrill of college basketball as a true insider. Prizes include a courtside experiences at the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic as well as exclusive merchandise.

The Coaches vs. Cancer program empowers coaches, their teams, and communities to join the fight against cancer by participating in awareness efforts, advocacy programs, and fundraising activities. Coaches vs. Cancer have raised more than $87 million to help the American Cancer Society’s mission.
