The Hilbert College athletics department invited faculty, staff, student-athletes and senior administrators to an April 5th afternoon round-table discussion as part of an NCAA integration event designed to educate and celebrate Division III membership. A cross-section involving more than 55 individuals on the Franciscan campus shared their experiences and visions for continued success integrating their student-athletes in all phases of a collegiate experience.
“The interaction among students, faculty, and staff was exceptionally rich and it was exciting to see the insights that emerged,” commented Hilbert College President Cynthia Zane. “It is my hope that we can repeat this event on an annual basis as one way to optimize student-athlete experiences at Hilbert.”
