HAMBURG, NY - With the start of the second semester upon us, the Hafner Recreation Center will be busting at the seems soon with student-athletes training for their respective seasons.
Tonight the men's volleyball team opens their season at the SUNYIT Tournament (Utica, NY) when they face Elms College and Bard College (6pm, 8pm). The Hawks move to pool-play Saturday based on the results of their first-day matches. You can follow the tourney results by clicking (here) which will take to you the SUNYIT tournament page. Tomorrow, the basketball teams look to sweep the series against Penn State Altoona this year. The women's team captured their first AMCC win in the 71-63 victory on December 8th, while the men's team claimed their third win 72-61.
The Hawks are traveling to Altoona tonight but fans, who can't make the trip to central PA, can watch and follow the games via the internet.

Hawks basketball, and men's volleyball continue to occupy prime practice times in the gym, but beginning February 1st the baseball, softball and men's and women's lacrosse teams will be vying for court time. What a great time of year!
